New Visteon Performance Windshields use DuPont™ SentryGlas® Expressions™ to add a roar of color

Visteon Corporation of the USA, which manufactures NASCAR Performance® Windshields, announced in November 2004 that it has added a color logo option to its product line, made possible due to Visteon’s use of DuPont™ SentryGlas® Expressions™ decorative glass technology.

Visteon’s exclusive NASCAR Performance Windshields feature a checkered flag motif with the well-known NASCAR® brand logo in the center. Located in the shade band across the top of the windshield, the sporty, colorful design is “thermally fused”, as Visteon puts it, between the glass using
DuPont SentryGlas® Expressions™ decorative glass technology.

Marketing manager at Visteon, Jackie Lupton, said: “The use of SentryGlas® Expressions™ means that the colorful and vibrant NASCAR logo is a permanent, fade-resistant part of Visteon’s original equipment (OE) quality aftermarket glass. We expect this Performance Windshield to prove very popular, based on the immense popularity of the NASCAR brand.
